Sir,

      Frequent load shedding in the city and suburbs has made our life miserable. Indiscriminate power-cuts over wide areas for hours together have become a daily feature nowadays. There is hardly any area which is not affected by it. Houses, shops, factories-all reel under the staggering load shedding. The whole industry is paralyzed. Students and teachers are the worst sufferers. We have learned to cook and eat in darkness, study, and do all the necessities of life in the dim candlelight. How long are we going to suffer? Are we sliding back to the dark age? It seems we are heading towards a great calamity. It is high time the Government took suitable measures to restore normalcy.
