Sir,

The ever-increasing prices of the bare necessities of life have now become a headache to most people. Rice sells at Rs. 20.00 per kilogram, and vegetables are also dear. Fish and meat are beyond the average man's reach. The prices of clothes and medicines and other essential commodities are also increasing by leaps and bounds every day. The monthly income of the people remains the same, this price rise is causing much hardship to everybody. The poorer section of the society is fighting for survival. The middle and lower middle-class people are finding it very hard to make both ends meet. Government should take necessary steps immediately to bring down the price of every essential commodity.

                                                                                                                                                Yours truly,
                                                                                                                                              Nandini Saha
